Sinfully Spicy started in 2010 in a small one-bedroom apartment in Las Vegas. It all began when Tanvi, an immigrant with a suitcase full of kitchen essentials and a heart full of memories, moved to the United States. Cooking traditional north indian food was her way of staying connected to home, and soon it grew into something much bigger.
Today, Sinfully Spicy is home to more than 400 authentic Indian recipes. Each recipe has been carefully created, tested, styled, and photographed in her own kitchen and studio, with the hope that they will inspire confidence and joy in your cooking.
Here, you'll not only find everyday home-style dishes but also learn how to recreate popular restaurant favorites like butter chicken, chana masala, palak paneer, tandoori chicken, and gulab jamun. Along the way, you'll pick up simple techniques and get comfortable using Indian spices, so that cooking these dishes feels natural and approachable.
If you like learning by watching, don't miss our step-by-step cooking videos! They bring the recipes to life and make it easier to follow along in your own kitchen. Over the years, Sinfully Spicy has been featured on SBS Australia, Saveur, Tasty, Brit+Co, The Huffington Post, Food52 and more.
